FAQ:

What does doula support look like?

Doula support provides emotional, physical, and informational care throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Doulas offer comfort measures like breathing techniques, massage, and positioning during labor, while also providing continuous encouragement and advocacy. My role is to ensure that parents feel supported, informed, and empowered during the birthing journey and beyond.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I absolutely do! My services include all of the above and so much more. I offer 3 different payment options and we will agree to them during contract signing.

What areas do you serve?

My range is the following hospitals. All hospitals in Jefferson county, RMC in Anniston, Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, and Morgan Medical Center in Guntersville. I also attend home births in those areas as well. If you are unsure if I serve your area please reach out to me.

Do you support home births or birth centers?

Yes! I have a huge heart for home births and the amazing birth center in Birmingham called Oasis. I know some truly beautiful midwife friends that would love your support.

Why a certified DONA Doula?

Choosing a certified DONA International doula offers the reassurance that we have undergone formal training and met specific standards in providing support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Certified doulas are equipped with evidence-based knowledge, hands-on techniques, and ethical guidelines to ensure quality care. We have also committed to ongoing education to stay updated on best practices. While non-certified doulas may still provide valuable support, certification adds an extra layer of accountability.
